Name of the Activity:Detection of
papaya seeds from black pepper seeds
This activity was conducted at Mount Abu Public school
on 29 nov for class 6.The prime objective of the
activity was to make students aware of
the method to detect if black pepper is adulterated.First of all They were
shown the video on Detection of Papaya seeds from black pepper seeds through

Then the activity was demonstrated by the teacher in the
Lab.The students were divided into groups of five students .They were provided
with the material required for the activity.They were given the sample to check
whether it is pure or adulterated .They did the activity enthusiastically with
curiosity.
Learning Outcome : The students were able to detect papaya seeds from black pepper
seeds even at home.
